Arts Fund ScholarAUS to USA NYU TischResearch Interest: FilmSophie Seyd was raised in Melbourne, Australia and is of Iraqi and English heritage. She received her BA in English Literature and is a current candidate of NYU Tisch’s Graduate Film Programme as a BAFTA Pigott Scholar. Before starting graduate school she lived in London where she worked in post-production on high end drama television for Apple TV, Sister Pictures, Amazon Prime and AMC. She is fascinated by the fractures and eccentricities within people, their relationships, and the places they inhabit.
