    INFINITE is a six-member boy group under INFINITE Company. Formed by Woollim Entertainment and originally as seven, they debuted on June 9, 2010, with the mini album “First Invasion”.

    Their debut full-length album, “Over the Top,” hit the shelves on July 1, 2011. The track “Be Mine” secured their first-ever music show win on M Countdown, winning two consecutive weeks. Following that success, the repackage edition, “Paradise,” was released on September 26.

    They later made their Japanese debut on November 19, 2011, with the single "BTD (Before the Dawn)".

    On June 9th, 2016, INFINITE was in talks of contract renewals with Woollim. It was later revealed that only 6 out of the 7 members renewed their contracts. On August 30, Hoya officially left both the group and the agency after he made the decision to not renew his exclusive contract.

    On August 19, 2019, L announced his departure from Woollim. A few years later in 2021, Sungkyu, Dong Woo, and Sungyeol left Woollim on March 6 and March 31, respectively. On January 24, 2022, Sungjong left Woollim. On October 7, 2022, Woohyun decided to leave Woolim. All members made it clear that they were departing from the company rather than the group.

    Boy band Infinite will be making a comeback for the first time in five years under a new agency established specifically for the band by leader Kim Sung-kyu.
     
    The boy band uploaded a teaser on its new YouTube and social media accounts on Saturday, exactly 12 years after the members uploaded their first video before their debut in 2010, announcing that the group will return for its 13th anniversary under the new agency, Infinite Company.
     
    Infinite Company will be an agency just for the group activities of the members, who have each signed with different companies after their contracts with Woollim Entertainment ended. Kim will act as the president, supported by the other five members — Jang Dong-woo, Lee Sung-jong, Lee Sung-yeol, L and Nam Woo-hyun.
